About the Institute

Akdeniz University Institute of Social Sciences was established by Decree Law No. 41 dated July 20, 1982, and started its academic activities in the 1992-1993 academic year. Apart from the Departments of Health Law, Communication, Women's Studies and Gender, Museology and Tourism Management, our Institute carries out 91 Graduate Programs affiliated with a total of 45 Departments within 12 Faculties.
