About the Institute

Akdeniz University Graduate School of Social Sciences was established by Statutory Decree No. 41 dated 20 July 1982 and commenced teaching in the 1992–1993 academic year.

With the exception of the (interdisciplinary) Departments of Health Law, Communication, Women's Studies and Gender, Museology, and Tourism Management, the Institute offers 93 postgraduate programmes affiliated with a total of 45 departments across 12 faculties.
